  Though the stories don't do much for any plot additions they do show a more detailed perspective of each Thunderclan cat. My particular favorite was Pinestar's Choice.
  
  Though in Bluestar's Prophecy it seemed like he just didn't want to lose his last life, it was more of just being tired of seeing every clan cat he cared about suffer or being killed in fights. Endless battling for small amounts of territory day in and day out, then seeing the house cats on the other side of the fence just coexisting without death seemed more and more compelling than the repetitious ongoing fighting.
  
  And after realizing he couldn't lead anymore, the dark prophecy about his son, and the loss of a very good friend, Pinestar makes the choice in trying to do what's best for both worlds.
  
  So in all, Pinestar was afraid of more lives lost, not just his own. We even see how he loses his 8th life with trying to help a dear friend. So I do recommend this little book!
• I liked this companion book to the Warriors books. I like reading about individual cats. This one focused on three of ThunderClan's cats. I hope we get to read about more cats from other clans in the 3-story format like this book.

• I love the Warrior novels, and the collected novellas which explore individual cats' stories. The novellas are a great addition to the regular series of books and super editions, esp. when the reader wants to learn more about certain characters. Excellent writing makes me wish there were more novellas!
• Great book. I fan of the Warriors Series will really enjoy the back stories of some of their best remembered character cats. There's a bitter sweat element to each story.
• I have always loved the work Erin Hunter does and she didn't let me down in this book. I look forward to all the new books she makes.
